What I track, what I don't.
Last updated: 2026-05-22.
This site is run by Igor Šalagin from Tallinn, Estonia. I designed and built it myself. Here's exactly what happens when you visit.
What I collect, only if you click "Accept"
- Which pages you visit and how long you stay.
- Which buttons or links you click.
- How far you scroll, your screen size, browser, and country.
- An anonymous visitor ID (a random string in a cookie), so repeat visits can be told apart from new ones.
That's all. Aggregated and anonymous. I use it to see what works on the site and what doesn't.
What I never collect
- Your name, email, phone, or any personal info. None of it is asked for or stored.
- Your IP address. PostHog masks it before it reaches me.
- Video session recordings. Heatmaps are aggregated patterns, not screen recordings.
- Anything at all if you click "Decline". No tracking script ever loads.
Cookies this site uses
- scalenic-consent - stores your "accept" or "decline" choice so I don't keep asking. Set by this site. Lives for 1 year.
- ph_phc_... (multiple) - set by PostHog only if you accepted. Holds the anonymous visitor ID and session info. Lives for 1 year. Removed if you opt out.
Where the data lives
PostHog EU - servers in Frankfurt, Germany. GDPR-compliant by design. Nothing leaves the EU.
Changing your mind
Clear your browser cookies and the banner will ask again. Or email me directly at igshalagin@gmail.com and I'll delete any data tied to your visitor ID.
